Support

We’re here to help.

A question about the MoodTrace app, or something not working the way it should? Here is how to reach us — and where to turn if you need someone right now.

If you’re in crisis, you don’t have to wait.

Call or text 988 (US) — the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Free, confidential, 24/7, with a trained counselor.

You can also text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line, 24/7), or go to your nearest emergency room. MoodTrace is not an emergency service, and our support inbox isn’t the fastest way to reach someone right now.

Common questions

How do I sign in?

Open MoodTrace, tap Sign in with Email, and enter the email address and password for your account. New to MoodTrace? Tap Don’t have an account? to create one. Already have an account? Sign in the same way you did when you created it.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in screen, tap Sign in with Email, then Forgot password? Enter your email address and tap Send reset email. If an account exists for that address, we’ll email you a link to set a new password. If it doesn’t arrive in a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

How do I change the language?

Go to Settings → Appearance, language & area, then choose English or Español (beta) under Language.

How do reminder notifications work?

On a phone, MoodTrace can remind you at the reminder times you set for your medications. Your phone will ask whether MoodTrace may send notifications — if you don’t allow them, MoodTrace won’t send reminders. A reminder never names a medication; it only says it’s time for a medication check-in. To change a reminder time, edit that medication in the app. To stop reminders altogether, turn off notifications for MoodTrace in your phone’s settings.
